Queens Park Rangers are reportedly keen to bring in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas as a replacement for controversial captain Joey Barton.
The R's skipper is under an internal investigation within the West London club following the midfielder's 12-match ban for acts of violent conduct during the club's final Premier League fixture against Manchester City.
Reports have claimed that the former Championship club are looking for ways to offload the 29-year-old, with a £4m bid for Jenas emerging as an option, according to the Daily Star.
Jenas signed a one-year contract extension at White Hart Lane in March but has fallen down the rankings in Harry Redknapp's side and is continuing to recover from an Achilles injury he picked up in December while on loan to Aston Villa.
