Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro has been given the green light to reapply for a new work permit.
The Brazilian international played throughout last season for the R's despite having an "issue" with his UK residency visa.
Sandro was forced to sit out the final couple of games of the 2014-15 campaign as a result of the blunder, which QPR stated they were eager to rectify.
Recent reports suggested that the Championship club had been suspended from signing non-EU players while the Home Office tried to solve a work permit issue involving the former Tottenham Hotspur man.
However, Rangers have now confirmed that the "club's sponsorship licence has been reinstated with immediate effect", which has paved the way for Sandro to launch a fresh appeal.
