Queens Park Rangers chief executive Phil Beard has admitted that the club is still targeting "one or two" new players to replace those expected to leave.
Beard said that manager Harry Redknapp has the full backing of the board to bring in the players required to get the team back into the Premier League.
"We are trying to make one or two changes, it is important for us for some players to leave and we are working on that as hard as we are in bringing in one or two players in," Beard told Sky Sports News.
"Harry has a great history in bringing the right type of player to his clubs and we need players who are going to give 100% for every second of every game and that is what we are focused on and I hope over the next couple of days one or two players will be announced.
"It is the first of August, we have a whole month to go and we will do the right deals for club that is most important thing."
QPR begin their season with a home clash against Sheffield Wednesday.
