Rangers end a turbulent week with their first home league defeat of the season at the hands of Kilmarnock.

Rangers ended one of the worst weeks in the club's history by suffering a 1-0 loss at home to Kilmarnock this afternoon.

The Glasgow club entered administration because of a £9m tax bill which led to a 10-point deduction, all but handing this year's Scottish Premier League title to great rivals Celtic.

Despite this, over 50,000 fans packed out Ibrox this afternoon only to watch their side timidly fall to sixth-placed Kilmarnock.

Dean Shiels grabbed the only goal of the game to inflict Rangers' first home defeat of the season in the SPL, with Gers defender Sasa Papac also receiving a red card.
