Rangers have revealed that they have agreed to allow Fabio Cardoso to leave the club.
Cardoso penned a three-year contract with the Scottish giants last summer, and the centre-back was initially regarded as first choice under manager Pedro Caixinha.
However, the exit of the Portuguese led to the 24-year-old only being used sparingly by interim boss Graeme Murty, and the player did not feature in the plans of Steven Gerrard.
Rangers shelled out a reported £1.3m on Cardoso but after just 18 appearances in the first team, the two parties have reached an agreement regarding his departure.
Cardoso could potentially attract interest from Portugal and the Championship ahead of the new campaign.
