Reading striker Jason Roberts has said that he is not concerned with his long-term future and is only thinking about performing during the coming season.
Roberts's contract has only a year left to run but the 34-year-old said that he is confident that the issue will be "sorted in time".
"I can't see [the contract situation] being an issue," the Reading Post quotes Roberts as saying.
"It will get sorted in time and it won't be a problem. Since I came to this club I think I have shown what I am about and will continue to do that.
"All I can do now is focus on the football and focus on the opportunity we have given ourselves by performing so well last year."
Roberts scored six goals in 17 appearances for the Royals after signing in January.
