Robert Snodgrass says that he feels "fresh" ahead of Friday's World Cup qualifier for Scotland.

Scotland forward Robert Snodgrass has insisted that he has not fallen victim to fatigue following a long season with Norwich City.

The 25-year-old is expected to feature for the Scots in their World Cup qualifier against Croatia on Friday with no chance of reaching the finals in Rio next year.

"It is not the favourite time to play in a qualifier but I should be fresh," Sporting Life quotes Snodgrass as saying.

"I have played most games this season but in the Championship I was playing 60 games. So I feel fresh, I feel good so I am ready for any challenge that comes my way."

If Snodgrass plays, he will make his 45th appearance of the campaign.
