Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie is said to be Sheffield United's number one target following their promotion to the Premier League.
The 23-year-old enjoyed his most prolific season to date last term, scoring 22 goals in 42 Championship appearances to rank by far as the Swans' top scorer.
According to The Star, that form has caught the eye of Sheffield United, who are in the hunt for a proven goalscorer as they bid to retain their top-flight status.
The newspaper says that manager Chris Wilder had a transfer meeting with the club's owners last month and proposed McBurnie - also being monitored by Brighton & Hove Albion - as their primary target.
The Scotland international, who is under contract for a further two years, has previous top-flight experience with the Welsh side, appearing 16 times but failing to find the net.
The Blades are also thought to be considering a bid for Brentford frontman Neal Maupay.
