Half-Time Report: No goals at White Hart Lane

Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham head into half time level after neither side scored during the opening 45 minutes at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham have finished the first half of their game at White Hart Lane goalless.

There were few goalscoring opportunities for either side for much of the first half following strong performances from both teams' defence.

Gareth Bale had a chance to give Tottenham an early lead as the Welshman looked to head in from a Gylfi Sigurdsson corner, but Sascha Riether was back to clear the ball off the line for the visitors.

Sigurdsson had a chance of his own later in the half, but the midfielder's effort was sliced just wide.

Bryan Ruiz had a good chance to put the Cottagers ahead just before the half-time whistle, after Hugo Lloris failed to deal with a cross from Dimitar Berbatov, but the Tottenham keeper managed to gather the ball before the Costa Rican reached it.
