The agent of Jan Vertonghen has claimed that the centre-back will sign a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur "very soon".
The 27-year-old was linked with a move away from the North Londoners during the summer transfer window, but he remained at White Hart Lane.
Now, according to the Belgium international's representative, he will commit his future to the club by agreeing to fresh terms in the near future.
"We have spoken to Daniel Levy about a new contract for Jan and the negotiations were very good. We hope to sort everything out very soon," Mustapha Nakhli told Sky Sports News.
"He is happy at Tottenham and wants to play for the club. He wants to play Champions League with Tottenham and he has a very good feeling about the new manager."
Vertonghen joined Spurs from Dutch side Ajax back in 2012.
