Mauricio Pochettino: 'Harry Kane staying at Tottenham Hotspur'

Harry Kane will stay at Tottenham Hotspur "for a long time", according to head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has played down speculation that has linked Harry Kane with a move away from the club.

Recent reports had suggested that both Southampton and Swansea City were readying January bids for the England Under-21 international.

However, Pochettino has insisted that the striker will remain at White Lane "for a long time".

"Harry will be staying with us for a long time. He is an important player for us," Pochettino told reporters.

Kane, 21, has scored six goals in his 10 outings this season.
