Tottenham Hotspur considering move for Teofilo Gutierrez?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a move for River Plate forward Teofilo Gutierrez.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified River Plate striker Teofilo Gutierrez as a possible new recruit ahead of the January transfer window.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have struggled for consistency in the Premier League early in the season, and a number of reports have suggested that the Argentine is eager to freshen up his attack.

According to The Mirror, Gutierrez is one forward who is believed to be a target due to his impressive goalscoring form for River Plate and Colombia.

However, the 29-year-old is reported to be just one of the players on the Spurs radar, with Southampton's Jay Rodriguez being linked with a move to White Hart Lane recently.

Spurs have scored just 13 goals in 10 games this season.
