Bojan Krkic has told former club Roma that they "cannot go wrong" by signing Stoke City teammate Asmir Begovic.
The Potters goalkeeper is out of contract at the Britannia Stadium next year and is therefore expected to leave during the summer transfer window.
Bojan, who claimed to being 'disrespected' by Roma during his time in the Italian capital, believes that the Giallorossi should make a move.
"Asmir Begovic? He's experienced and he has character," the Spaniard told Corriere dello Sport. "I don't know anything about the negotiations, but [Roma] can't go wrong with him."
Prior to his long-term injury layoff last season, Bojan made 18 appearances for Stoke in his maiden campaign at the Premier League club.
