Wales captain Ashley Williams: 'We're not looking past Cyprus game'

Wales defender Ashley Williams insists that he and his teammates are refusing to look past tonight's Cyprus game as they edge closer to Euro 2016 qualification.

Wales captain Ashley Williams has insisted that he and his teammates are refusing to look past the Cyprus game as they have the chance of qualifying for a major tournament for the first time since 1958.

Victories over Cyprus and Israel will send Chris Coleman's side through to the finals in France, but Williams is only concerned with tonight's fixture.

"As players and as people involved in the camp we understand the expectation and the way the nation is feeling because we feel the same, but it is our job to go out and perform and protect what we've done in this campaign," Sky Sports News quotes Williams as saying.

"We understand there's two games but the fact is we don't look past the Cyprus game. I refuse to look at Israel or the other two games and I won't let the boys do that either. We're just so focused on Cyprus because we understand how big it is."

Wales currently top Group B, three points above Belgium.
