Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Bakary Sako has insisted that he is happy to remain at the club for the rest of the season.
Sako had been linked with a move to Fulham and Nottingham Forest during the summer transfer window, but the Frenchman has revealed that he is now focused on helping the Molineux outfit achieve promotion from League One.
The 25-year-old told the Express & Star: "I'm very happy to stay. If something had happened and the club were happy for me to go, maybe I would have, but I'm happy to stay at Wolves.
"I'm going to do my best to try to get us promoted. I will continue to enjoy it. Anything can happen, but I am planning on being here for the rest of the season."
Sako has netted three times for Wolves this season.
