Gloucester's Mike Tindall has thanked the club's fans for their support following their 27-24 win over Northampton at Kingsholm this afternoon.
Tindall's side raced out to a first-half lead thanks to tries from Charlie Sharples and Darren Dawidiuk, but Saints prop Soane Tonga'uiha and centre George Pisi struck back after the break to set up a close finish.
"We obviously had to win today," he told ESPN. "We're a little bit disappointed that we didn't kick on from the first half and didn't really find that flow again, but credit to Northampton and the way they fought back.
"It's all about hanging on and winning and that's what we needed to do. There are no easy games in the Premiership. Today was massive because we were at home.
"The work ethic and commitment that the boys put in is outstanding. When you've got another 12 or 13,000 cheering you on, it always helps you get up when you're a little bit tired."
Gloucester travel to the Recreation Ground to face Bath next weekend.
