Stanislas Wawrinka has come from behind to beat Grigor Dimitrov in round three of the Madrid Open.
Dimitrov took a deserved lead when he clinched the opening set 6-3 before world number 15 Wawrinka levelled the match by taking a tight second 6-4.
While there was little to separate the two men during the previous 77 minutes, Wawrinka seized control in the third as two service breaks allowed him to seal the win 6-1.
Wawrinka will now take on French seventh seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga with a semi-final spot at stake.
