Number two seed Agnieszka Radwanska has booked her place in the quarter-finals of the Rogers Cup in Montreal thanks to a straight-sets triumph over South African Chanelle Scheepers.
The Wimbledon finalist eased to a 6-2 win in the first set before sealing the victory 6-4 in the second.
The Pole will now play 10th seed Na Li for a place in the semi-finals.
Radwanska can become the world number one if she wins the tournament in Canada this week.
