Number one seed Novak Djokovic is hoping to make his experience count when he takes on Juan Martin del Potro in the semi-finals of Wimbledon tomorrow.

Novak Djokovic is hopeful that his previous experience at Wimbledon will be enough to guide him into the final this year.

The number one seed faces Juan Martin del Potro in the semi-finals tomorrow for the opportunity to take part in his second final at the All England Club.

Djokovic told reporters: "I'm trying to use that experience that I had in the past, especially in this tournament in 2011, to feel comfortable and calm and confident towards the end of the major tournament.

"Now I'm in the semi-finals. Hopefully I can go a step further. I'm really going to try to step out on the court in two days and give my best to be in another final of Wimbledon. I believe I can make it."

The 26-year-old won Wimbledon in 2011, beating Rafael Nadal in the final.
