Getafe have a record of one win, seven draws and five defeats from their 13 La Liga matches this season, with a total of 10 points leaving them in 17th spot in the division, level on points with 18th-placed Espanyol.
Goals have been a real issue for the capital side this term, finding the back of the net on just eight occasions, which is the joint-worst attacking record in Spain's top flight alongside Valencia.
However, Jose Bordalas's side have been solid defensively, conceding just 11 times, with Atletico Madrid (seven), Mallorca (10) and Real Sociedad (10) the only teams with stronger records during the 2024-25 campaign.
Getafe lost back-to-back matches to Celta Vigo and Girona at the start of the month, with their only league victory of the campaign proving to be a 2-0 success at home to Alaves on September 28.
The Deep Blue Ones are winless in their last five La Liga games against Real Valladolid, losing three times in the process, but their last meeting ended in a goalless draw in June 2023.

Real Valladolid, meanwhile, entered the November international break off the back of a 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao, with Raul Moro sending the White and Violets ahead in the 79th minute before Gorka Guruzeta scored a last-gasp leveller for the Lions.
Paulo Pezzolano's side were so close to recording what would have been a huge win, but it was still a positive result, with the team moving onto nine points from 13 matches this season, which has left them in 19th spot in the table.
Real Valladolid have the worst defensive record in the division this season, conceding 25 times, but as mentioned, they are coming up against the joint-worst attacking team in La Liga in 2024-25.
Pezzolano's team finished second in the Segunda Division last term to secure a return to the top flight, and they will be bidding to make it successive campaigns at this level for the first time since 2021.
Real Valladolid have enjoyed the better of their recent meetings with Getafe, winning three of their last four match-ups in Spain's top flight, while they have only lost once to the capital team in La Liga since November 2012.

Getafe's squad will be boosted by the return of Juan Berrocal following a suspension, but Djene Dakonam and Borja Mayoral both face late fitness tests for the capital side.
Mayoral missed the end of last season with a serious knee problem and has struggled with more fitness issues this term, with the striker not featuring since the start of October, and he remains a big doubt for this match.
The Deep Blue Ones have not reported any fresh fitness problems ahead of this game, but there is likely to be at least one change in the final third of the field, with Alex Sola potentially featuring down the right.
As for Real Valladolid, Kenedy remains on the sidelines with a muscular problem, but the visitors are otherwise in strong shape heading into their clash with Getafe.
Due to the manner of the performance and result against Athletic last time out, it would not be a surprise to see the same XI take to the field here, including another start down the right for Moro.
Luis Perez and Lucas Rosa should continue in the full-back positions for Real Valladolid, while Mamadou Sylla, who has two league goals to his name this season, is set to lead the line for the White and Violets.
Getafe possible starting lineup:
Soria; Iglesias, Duarte, Alderete, Rico; Santiago, Arambarri; Sola, Milla, Perez; Uche
Real Valladolid possible starting lineup:
Hein; Perez, Bah, Sanchez, Torres, Rosa; Moro, Juric, Perez, Tuhami; Sylla
We say: Getafe 1-1 Real Valladolid
There has only actually been one draw in the last six La Liga meetings between these two sides, but we can see the points being shared on Friday. Real Valladolid have been poor defensively this term, but Getafe struggle to find the back of the net, and we are expecting a low-scoring affair at Estadio Coliseum.
