Legendary Italian striker Filippo Inzaghi has signalled the end of his playing career after agreeing to take up a coaching role with AC Milan.
Inzaghi's contract with the Rossoneri expired this summer, with rumours suggesting that he may extend his playing days in England with either Queens Park Rangers or Watford.
However, he has now ended speculation over his future by hanging up his boots and instead taking up a managerial position with Milan's youth team.
The 38-year-old is the second-highest scorer in the history of European competition, having netted 70 times, including two in the 2007 Champions League final victory over Liverpool.
Inzaghi also struck 25 times in 57 caps for the national side.
