Signed from Stoke City along with defensive partner Steve Bould in 1988, Lee Dixon was a key member of Arsenal's title-winning teams of 1989 and 1991 prior to the advent of the Premier League.

The defensive line of Dixon, Tony Adams, Steve Bould, Martin Keown and Nigel Winterburn remains one of the most defining of the Premier League era, and all five of them continued beyond Arsene Wenger's revolution at the club to enjoy even greater success.

Premier League and FA Cup doubles followed in 1998 and 2002, the latter of which was Dixon's final season before he hung up his boots at the age of 38.

The right-back made 305 Premier League appearances overall - and 616 across all competitions for the Gunners - helping the club to two Premier League titles, the League Cup, three FA Cups and the Cup Winners' Cup in that time.
