Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that his side are not in the Premier League title race.
The Gunners, who are currently fifth in the table, are 12 points behind league leaders Manchester City.
"We are out of the title race as things stand because we are very far away from Manchester City," said Wenger.
"If we can get back to within six points of City, then you can start to speak about being title contenders.
"As things stand, we are still in a good race for the top four."
Arsenal's Boxing Day fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium has been moved to Tuesday, December 27 due to the London tube strike.
