Lazio attacker Joaquin Correa emerges as a potential transfer target for Everton, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Lazio attacker Joaquin Correa this summer.

The 26-year-old was again an important player for his Italian club during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 11 goals and registering six assists in 38 appearances in all competitions.

Correa was also in action for Argentina at this summer's Copa America, featuring on three occasions for the tournament winners against Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay.

The attacker is expected to leave Lazio this summer, and a number of clubs, including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain, have been credited with an interest in his signature.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Everton have now joined the race for the South American, who is believed to be valued by his current side in the region of €30m (£25.7m).

The former Estudiantes youngster, who still has three years left to run on his contract in Rome, has scored 30 goals and registered 18 assists in 117 outings for Lazio in all competitions.
