Christian Benteke has warned his Aston Villa teammates to retain their focus as the club looks to avoid relegation.
Back-to-back victories has moved Villa three points clear of the bottom three, but Benteke is keen for Tim Sherwood's side to keep the momentum going in the closing stages of the season.
"We're not safe yet and we must remember that. We have to keep going and build on the momentum we now have," the Belgian told reporters.
"It's great the confidence is there now. It's higher than before and we have to take it into the next game."
"The situation the manager came into was hard and he needed time. But now we are doing his stuff and we have to keep it going."
Villa return to action with a home fixture against Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.
