Monaco have confirmed that Thomas Lemar is leaving the club this summer in order to join Atletico Madrid.
Lemar has been heavily linked with a departure from the Ligue 1 outfit for the past 12 months, with a number of Premier League sides known to be admirers of the France international.
However, Atletico reached a 'preliminary agreement' over a deal for Lemar before the World Cup, and Monaco have now acknowledged that the transfer is going ahead as planned.
Best wishes to Thomas #Lemar on his new adventure in Spain with @atletienglish! Thanks for three incredible seasons, Thomas!
