Luis Enrique braced for "special" Pep Guardiola clash

Luis Enrique relishes coming up against Bayern boss Pep Guardiola when the Bavarians travel to Barcelona for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has admitted that Pep Guardiola's return to Camp Nou with Bayern Munich will make for a special occasion.

Both European giants were paired together in the semi-finals of the Champions League, with Guardiola previously winning 14 honours during a trophy-laden spell as coach.

"It's special as it's the first time Pep will face Barca. He will face his former players too," Enrique, also a former teammate for the Bayern coach in Catalunya, told reporters.

The Catalans host their German counterparts on May 6, before travelling to Bavaria for the return leg six days later.
