Barcelona have reportedly made a U-turn regarding Antoine Griezmann and are now ready to reignite their interest in the Atletico Madrid forward.
Griezmann was heavily linked with a switch to Barca in last summer's transfer window, with the Catalan giants believed to have spent 12 months working on a deal for the France international.
However, the 28-year-old announced before the 2018 World Cup that he would be penning a new long-term contract at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Griezmann's future is once again being called into question, however, and it had been reported that the attacker's representatives were preparing to apologise to Barca for rejecting them in the hope that a deal could be struck this summer.
Initially it was claimed that the Spanish champions were no longer interested in the Frenchman, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca could yet make a move at the end of the season.
Griezmann, who has scored 18 times in 40 appearances for Atletico this season, will see his current £200m release clause drop to £129m on July 1.
