Josip Drmic has completed a move from Bayer Leverkusen to Borussia Monchengladbach.
The Foals had been keen to sign the 22-year-old last summer, but he eventually opted to join Leverkusen following a stint with Nuremburg.
However, having failed to hold down a regular spot at the BayArena, the striker has now agreed a four-year contract with Monchengladbach.
"We were interested in signing Josip Drmic last year but on that occasion he chose to join Leverkusen," sporting director Max Eberl told the club's official website.
"We're delighted that everything has come together now. Josip is a quick and dangerous attacker and is going to fit in well."
Drmic, who has been capped 18 times by Switzerland, has been handed the number nine shirt at Borussia Park.
