Peruvian striker Claudio Pizarro has returned for a second spell with Bayern Munich after agreeing a one-year deal with the German giants.
Pizarro is out of contract following a four-year spell with the Bavarians' Bundesliga rivals Werder Bremen.
The Champions League finalists moved quickly to offer the 33-year-old a short-term deal which sees him rejoin the club after leaving for Chelsea in 2007.
Bayern sporting director Christian Nerlinger said: "We are very happy that we were able to sign Claudio Pizzaro, an international player who is dangerous in front of the goal."
Pizarro scored 71 goals in 174 matches for Munich during his first spell at the club between 2001 and 2007.
