Bolton boss Owen Coyle has said that he is pleased to see his players continue to build on recent results.
The Trotters, who secured a point against Wolves at the weekend, were able to come from behind to win 2-1 at Goodison Park last night against an Everton side unbeaten in their last four fixtures.
"We came into tonight on the back of the Wolves game when we felt we should have taken all three points," he told the club's official website. "So we wanted to build on that.
"Everton were in good form and on a run of four games unbeaten and we knew we would be in for a tough challenge.
"The team showed a real belief and resilience. We know it's there for us – we have good players and we have a belief."
Bolton, whose win moves them off the bottom of the Premier League table, are now within one point of escaping the drop zone.
