Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has revealed that he is hoping to bring in three more players before the start of the new season.
Freedman is eager to improve on the 14th-place finish his side achieved in their last Championship campaign, and he is certain that there will be departures and arrivals in the near future.
"I believe we need three players to come into the squad before the start of the season, and that will mean three will move out, or won't play," the Trotters boss told the Bolton News. "We'll deal with that when it happens. I want them by the start of the season, but I appreciate it's not as simple as just saying that.
"If you are spending a lot of money then you call the shots. If you are not, you can be dictated to time-wise."
Bolton begin their season against Watford on August 9.
