Michael Chopra has apologised to Cardiff City fans after celebrating a goal against his former club yesterday.
The striker netted the second in Ipswich Town's 3-0 win over the Bluebirds and has since said sorry for upsetting his former faithful.
Chopra also questioned the playing style of the current Cardiff side and said the football on show from the visitors at Portman Road didn't impress him.
"The reason I celebrated was [that] my emotions took over my head," the 28-year-old wrote on Twitter.
"Sorry if I've upset some Cardiff fans, [it's] very strange how a Cardiff team can just play so many long balls when you have a player like Whitts (Peter Whittingham) in your team that makes things happen."
The win was the first time the Tractor Boys have won four successive league games since November 2004.
