Willian has called on Chelsea to give newly-appointed manager Frank Lampard time to succeed at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues hierarchy are known to be willing to make frequent changes in the dugout, with Lampard being brought in earlier this summer after Maurizio Sarri left after one season.
While Chelsea have endured a mixed start under the club legend, Willian feels that the Englishman should be provided with plenty of time to develop the players in his squad.
The Brazilian is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "Lampard was one of the best players at Chelsea and one of the best players in Europe.
"The fans love him and he knows the club very well. I think now it's time to give more time to him. I've been at Chelsea six years and I've had five different managers already.
"Maybe now it's time to give more time like Man City do, like Liverpool do, three or four years. That could be very important."
Chelsea sit in sixth position in the Premier League table after recording eight points from five games.
