Real Madrid are no longer interested in signing Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, according to a report.
The 28-year-old has less than six months remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge and he is at risk of leaving the Blues for free next summer.
One previous report claimed that Real, as well as Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Juventus, have opened talks with Rudiger's representatives.
However, Spanish journalist Jose Luis Sanchez on the El Chiringuito Twitch channel, via Marca, has stated that Los Blancos are no longer in the race for the defender's signature.
The report adds that the La Liga giants have cooled their interest in the Germany international and they will not be making a formal offer, despite holding talks with the player's agent.
Rudiger's wage demands are believed to be higher than what Real would be willing to play, while Carlo Ancelotti is currently happy with the centre-back options he already has at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Since joining Chelsea from Roma in 2017, Rudiger has made 175 appearances across all competitions, winning four trophies, including the Champions League last season.
