Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has reportedly emerged as a loan target for West Ham United.
Loftus-Cheek has struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge this season, with just 318 minutes being played in all competitions since the start of the new campaign.
According to The Mirror, that has resulted in West Ham identifying the 22-year-old as a potential loan addition for the January window.
Long-term injuries to Manuel Lanzini and Andriy Yarmolenko are likely to force Manuel Pellegrini into the market, although the Hammers may be limited to temporary deals due to their summer outlay.
However, the report suggests that Chelsea are currently unwilling to part ways with Loftus-Cheek with the England international playing a part off the bench in the Premier League and from the start in cup competitions.
Loftus-Cheek has just over two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at the West Londoners.
