Former Celtic manager Neil Lennon has insisted that he has had no contact with Crystal Palace over their vacant manager's job.
The Eagles are looking for a new boss following the departure of Tony Pulis just two days before the new Premier League season began.
Lennon has been installed by several bookmakers as the favourite to succeed Pulis, but the Northern Irishman has said that he does not know why this is the case.
When asked about speculation linking him with the job, Lennon told BBC Sport: "I've nothing to tell you really.
"There's been no communication, I don't know where this information [to make me favourite] is coming from."
Lennon has been out of work since leaving Celtic in May.
