Marvin Emnes's goalscoring form continued during Middlesbrough's single-goal victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
Dutch striker Emnes opened the scoring in the 65th with a first-time volley which bounced into the bottom corner of the net.
Joe Bennett was handed his marching orders ten minutes from time when he brought down Palace substitute Wilfried Zaha.
Middlesbrough have gone top of the table with this win.
Next Saturday Middlesbrough welcome Ipswich Town to the Riverside Stadium, while Crystal Palace travel to Doncaster Rovers.
