Former Scotland and Everton defender Gary Naysmith has been appointed the manager of Scottish League One club East Fife.
The 35-year-old had been put in caretaker charge of the team following Willie Aitchison's resignation on November 23.
However, Naysmith has now signed an 18-month permanent contract at Bayview Stadium.
"I primarily came here as a player and helped out taking the reserves then moved up to assistant manager after a couple of months and then I moved into the caretaker role and I'm delighted that I'm now the permanent manager at East Fife," he told Sky Sports News.
"I've spoken to all the managers that I played under and they've been fantastic. I've asked their opinions on one or two things and they've all been great. It's up to you who you want to listen to."
East Fife are currently in seventh place in the Scottish League One table.
