Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Lucas Digne has agreed a new contract with the club.
The 27-year-old joined the Toffees from Barcelona in August 2018 and has made 94 appearances for the Merseyside giants in all competitions, including 18 outings during the 2020-21 campaign.
Digne has contributed six assists in 13 Premier League appearances this season, meanwhile, and captained the side in their 3-3 draw with Manchester United last weekend.
Ancelotti has revealed that an agreement over a new deal has been reached, and there is expected to be an official announcement on the France international next week.
"I'm not in there but I know that they agreed, then next week I think they are going to sign officially the new contract," Ancelotti told reporters.
Digne's existing deal at Goodison Park is due to expire in June 2023.
