Hull City have denied Championship counterparts Leicester City the opportunity to speak with manager Nigel Pearson over the vacant managerial post at the King Power stadium, according to Sky Sports News.
The Foxes are yet to find a replacement since the sacking of fomer England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson last month.
Pearson was replaced by Eriksson in June of last year at Leicester and has refused to comment on a possible return to the Midlands.
Pearson's Tigers are currently eighth, two points clear of Leicester.
