Hull City have reportedly moved to the brink of securing the signature of forward Fraizer Campbell.
The 29-year-old has spent the last three seasons with Crystal Palace but after contributing eight goals in 50 appearances in all competitions, he was released at the end of his contract.
The former Manchester United trainee has never played below the second tier of English football and according to the Daily Mail, that will continue should he pass a medical with the Tigers.
Campbell represented Hull during the 2007-08 campaign and it has turned out to be his most successful year as a professional with 15 goals being scored in 34 league appearances.
He has also spent time with Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and Cardiff City during his career.
