Ipswich Town striker Daryl Murphy has been named the Championship Player of the Month for December.
The 31-year-old scored six goals over the festive period, including braces in victories over Leeds United and Brentford.
He also weighed in with a goal in wins at the expense of Middlesbrough and fellow high-flyers Brentford.
Harry Arter, Andy Lonergan and Norwich City midfielder Bradley Johnson were the other players that had been in the running for the accolade.
