West Ham United and Leeds United have earned one point apiece after a 2-2 draw at Upton Park.
Carlton Cole opened the scoring within the first six minutes, capitalising on a corner from Matthew Taylor. Max Gradel almost equalised through a penalty conceded by Matthew Taylor’s handball in the 27th minute, but the home side maintained the lead at half-time.
Ross McCormack managed to bring the scores even after 58 minutes with the assistance of Robert Snodgrass before Patrick Kisnorbo handed the lead back to the Hammers two minutes later with an own goal.
Sam Allardyce’s side appeared victorious until the Whites’ Adam Clayton stole a late equaliser one minute after normal time.
