The agent of Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli believes that people are "wrong" to criticise the Italian, because he is dealing with a personal struggle.
The 24-year-old has scored just twice for the Reds following his arrival on Merseyside from AC Milan for a reported £16m fee in the summer.
According to Balotelli's representative Mino Raiola, the controversial forward is struggling because he is missing his young daughter, whom he fathered in a previous relationship
"It's wrong to criticise him," Raiola told newspaper Corriere dello Sport. "He needs to be given time to adapt at Liverpool. His difficult time is not connected to football, but to the fact he can't see his daughter as much as he would like."
Liverpool have won just four of their 12 Premier League games.
