Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is reportedly facing a two-month spell on the sidelines with a thigh problem.
The Brazil international was forced off the field in the Reds' 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sunday after just four minutes of play.
While the club have yet to learn the extent of the injury, the Merseyside outfit fear that today's scan could confirm that the midfielder will be unavailable for eight weeks, according to the Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old recently returned from a seven-month layoff after suffering cruciate ligament damage last season.
