Rickie Lambert has "no intention" of Liverpool exit

Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert says that he has "no intention" of leaving the club, amid speculation linking him with a move to Crystal Palace.

Rickie Lambert has insisted that he has "no intention" of leaving Liverpool this month.

The 32-year-old striker has reportedly courted interest from Crystal Palace, with manager Alan Pardew previously admitting his interest.

Lambert was on target in the Reds' 2-0 win away to Aston Villa on Saturday, and the former Southampton man hopes to stay on Merseyside beyond the winter transfer window.

"I've no intention of leaving Liverpool while they want me. If they don't want me I'll go but I'm here to help in whatever way I can," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

Lambert has netted two Premier League goals in 17 appearances since his £4m summer move to Anfield.
