Liverpool have seemingly been dealt a blow in their alleged attempts to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt.
The Merseyside giants have been linked with a number of creative players ahead of the summer window, and Jurgen Klopp is said to be an admirer of German compatriot Brandt.
However, the 22-year-old has suggested that he has no intention of making a decision on his future until the end of the season.
Brandt told Bild: "I will make up my mind but not during the season. For me, the club and the present is too important.
"If I was only concerned about that, then my performance would suffer as well. It is something the club, who have given me confidence over the years, do not deserve."
Brandt is said to have a €25m (£21.57m) release clause in his contract.
