Liverpool have reportedly opened talks with Senegalese forward Sadio Mane over a new contract.
The 27-year-old's current deal at Anfield runs until 2023 but Jurgen Klopp's side are believed to want to tie him down for longer amid the winger's outstanding run of form.
Mane won both the Premier League Golden Boot and the Champions League with the Reds last season, while he also played a starring role in Senegal's run to the final of this summer's African Cup of Nations.
French website Soccer Link reports that while talks between Liverpool and the former Red Bull Salzburg man are in the early stages, the Merseyside club have already indicated that they are prepared to offer him a pay rise.
Mane scored a brace yesterday against Newcastle United to take him to six goals in six games so far this season across all competitions.
Those goals also took the winger to 65 goals in 129 games for the Reds since joining them from fellow Premier League side Southampton in 2016.
