Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly touched base with the representatives of Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah over a possible summer transfer.
While the French champions are thought to be nearing an agreement with Neymar over a new deal until 2026, the future of Kylian Mbappe remains uncertain, as the Frenchman's contract is due to expire in 2022.
With both Liverpool and Real Madrid supposedly interested in a deal for Mbappe, PSG are thought to be seeking out replacements for the World Cup winner, and a recent report claimed that Mauricio Pochettino has made contact with Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane.
Now, French outlet Telefoot claims that PSG have also opened talks with Salah's entourage, with the Egyptian's Liverpool future also up in the air after he previously refused to rule out a move elsewhere.
Even though Liverpool are rumoured to be one of the sides keeping tabs on Mbappe, there is currently nothing to suggest that either he or Salah would be involved in any sort of swap or part-exchange deal this summer.
Salah took his Premier League goals tally to 19 for the season with the equaliser in Saturday's 2-1 win over Aston Villa, and his Anfield deal is not due to expire until June 2023.
